I
recently read Sacred Shadow Sacred Ground and found it to be not
only a very insightful book, but very inspirational, as well.
I am the ex-wife of a Vietnam veteran. My husband returned from
Vietnam physically, but had deep emotional scars. Trying to help
someone you love overcome such traumatic events is a daunting,
if not impossible, task.
Glenda's book taught me that dealing with grief and loss is much
like climbing a mountain. It can be done, but with the right tools
and the right outlook, it is much easier to acheive.
The loss of a loved one never leaves you completly, but learning
to channel grief in a positive way, as Glenda has done with this
book, makes life's journey less burdensome.
I have purchased many copies of the books to send to my friends
and family who have sons and daughters in the military. My thoughts
and prayers are with them all, and also with Glenda for having
great courage, integrity and determination to write a beautiful
piece of work.
