WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Guess
what I got in the mail today?....I have shed tears of joy and
pride, of admiration and awe. You did it!! We have only thumbed
through your book and I just had to stop long enough to thank
you and congratulate you on such a wonderful work. I am proud
to have been a small part of your journey. I am also proud to
know you; a true friend and fellow veteran.
Thanks...in so many ways....now back to the book.

When
Sher and I got back home, Nikki had finished the book, and Sher
picked it up and didn't put it down until she had finished it
(the last time Sherry read a book all the way through was 16 years
ago). They loved it, and tears were shed with their smiles.
My book was waiting for me also, I opened it and while holding
it in my hands, my first thought was, what a wonderful feel it
has to it. What an impressive look it has to it. The best job
I have seen in all of the self publishing I have handled over
the years. the cover was so powerful, I loved it already.

This
book touched my heart deeply to see the pain the author went through
on her way to a better life. There are so many still affected
by the Vietnam war, and only now are some able to get the help
they need. Glenda Carter shows the way. Her beautiful photographs
add to the healing quality of the book, and make it one to return
to again and again. The stories of the young men who served with
her husband remind me of the terrible cost of war, which is still
being paid. I
recommend this book to all who lived through the Vietnam war,
and to those who would like some insight into those of us who
did.
